The SS Rajamouli-helmed period fantasy epic crushed all previous records when it cleared nearly ₹1,400/$215 million crore in India collections across all of its versions. The all-time highest-grossing Indian comedy is Aamir Khan’s 204 hit PK, which earned ₹340 crore domestically and nearly ₹800 crore worldwide. Its success has sparked talk of a fifth Golmaal picture, which director Rohit Shetty has said will "definitely" happen, as soon as he has "the right script."
