more-inThis year the Gollapudi Srinivas Award was presented to Hemanth M. Rao for his Kannada film, Godhi Banna Sadharna Mykattu. Mr. Rao was honoured with the award on Saturday at the Music Academy by Governor of Tamil Nadu Ch. Vidyasagar Rao, Suhasini Mani Ratnam and members from the film fraternity. Ms. Suhasini Mani Ratnam spoke about the importance of the function. This is the 20th edition of the award which is given to first-time film directors.
