more-inMumbai: Two goldsmiths were robbed of gold and cash in broad daylight on Friday by four unidentified men, police said. The gold belonged to a jeweller in Sector 36, Kamothe and some other clients of the complainant, Goraknath Shinde, 30. Senior PI Ashok Naik, Kamothe police station, said, “The accused were well aware of the complainants’ profession and route. The accused might have kept a watch on them over a period of time and planned the robbery. “Since the accused had used the local language of Satara, we will also be checking records of history-sheeters in Pune and Satara,” Mr. Naik said.
