SERDANG: A goldsmith shop manager was shot dead by robbers in a jewellery heist at a hypermarket in Seri Kembangan here on Friday (April 19). In the 7.13pm incident, three men wearing full-face helmets burst into the store waving pistols. When the store manager, 28, did not respond to their demands quickly enough, they shot him in the chest. The only other employee at the shop, a woman, was unharmed. “We have recovered the bullet casing of a semi-automatic pistol and are trying to track down the suspects,” he said.
