SHAH ALAM (Bernama): A goldsmith's shop here lost about RM5mil when it was broken into early Friday (June 7). "The crime is believed to have been committed by more than two professional burglars. "The total amount of the loss is estimated at RM5mil," he told reporters at the scene at Section 7 here Monday. He added that the burglars were believed to have used a metal cutting machine to cut open the vault door and the safe boxes. Baharudin said the burglars also stole the closed-circuit television cameras (CCTV) system installed at the store, which only started operations in January this year.
