Aston Lark, the UK-based chartered insurance broker backed by Goldman Sachs, has purchased Dublin-based Principal Insurance Ireland. Principal Insurance was established in 2015 and has since grown to have over 30pc of the market share in the Irish motorcycle insurance market, according to a statement from Aston Lark. With further investment Principal Insurance will now look at extending its footprint in motorcycle insurance.
