The move will mark the highest ever prices of gold in the country’s history. As per the new decision, each bhori of 22-carat gold will now cost Tk61,527, 21-carat Tk59,194, and 18-carat will be sold at Tk54,179 in the local market. The last time Bajus hiked the prices was on January 5. Prior to that, the prices were also hiked in July, August, November and December last year.
