The highest refined quality, 22 carats, will cost Tk 1,166 less per bhori from Monday. The prices of other categories of gold would be reduced by Tk 816 to Tk 1,108 per bhori. Traders of the precious metal lowered prices during the last couple of months of the previous year. But prices were raised twice this year, in January and February. Each bhori of 22 carat gold (11.664g) will be sold for Tk 45,898.
