Goethe Institut to stage upcycling exhibition in Manila 0 SHARES Share it! The Goethe-Institut, in partnership with the German institute for international relations (Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen) or the IFA, will unveil the exhibition in Manila with the theme of upcycling – the re-use of raw materials that have already been processed to create new objects of greater value. According to the Goethe Institut, the IFA has structured the exhibition as an innovative co-creative format that promotes artistic and cultural exchange, and as a competence center for international cultural relations, connects civil societies, cultural practices, art, media, and learning. The German exhibition will have its regular display from October 24 to November 23 with an admission fee of only Php30 (discounts apply for students, seniors, and PWDs). The Goethe-Institut is the Federal Republic of Germany’s cultural institute, promoting the study of the German language abroad, and encouraging international cultural exchange.
