Following his stellar junior season with Arizona State, Joey Daccord has signed a two-year contract with the Senators and he will be with the team for the final week of the season. It’s possible Daccord could play in one of the club’s three final games. The 22-year-old Daccord, originally drafted in the seventh round, 199th overall by the Senators in the 2015 NHL entry draft, carried Arizona State all season long. The signing of Daccord gives the Senators six goaltenders under contract, including Anderson, Anders Nilsson, Mike Condon, Marcus Hogberg and Filip Gustavsson. Nilsson (unrestricted free agent) and Hogberg (restricted free agent) are not yet signed for the 2019-20 season and Condon has missed most of the season with a hip injury.
