The announcement of the 35-year-old player, formerly known as Kosin Hathairattanaool, came a big surprise not only to his national teammates but also to the Thai soccer scene. “After 14 years, representing Thailand is the highlight of my football career. I hope everybody remembers me as a fighter who fights until the last minute,” the national goalie posted on his facebook. Throughout his career, Sinthaweechai helped Thailand win the King’s Cup titles in 200 7, 2016 and 2017 , and was part of the SEA Games gold medal team in 2003 and 2005. He was named Thai Premier League Best Goalkeeper of the year in 2008 and was in the Suphanburi team when they won the FA Cup last year.
