The World Cup champion women's soccer team has a new labor contract, settling a dispute in which the players sought equitable wages to their male counterparts. The deal comes as the national team is preparing to play an exhibition match against Russia on Thursday in Frisco, Texas. It also comes before the start of the National Women's Soccer League season on April 15. They picked up again over the last two months after U.S. Women's National Team Players Association brought in a new executive director and legal representation. The Irish women's national soccer team also said Tuesday it could skip an upcoming international match because of a labor dispute.
