Southern United pulled off a remarkable comeback to begin its weekend on the futsal court. The side scored three goals in the final three minutes to beat the Waikato Rapids 4-3 in the Super League’s final weekend in Auckland. Carlos Hermann scored the last two of those, including slotting the match-winner from a Mike Sannum pass with just 12sec to play. Waikato led 2-0 early, before Yun Sung Chang pegged one back for Southern. The Rapids added a third before halftime, though, and kept Southern quiet for most of the second half.
