more-inGoa’s beef traders on Friday accused a few NGOs of spreading false information about illegal import of cattle to scuttle beef trade in the State. Quereshi Meet Traders Association president Manna Bepari said the traders brought cattle from Karnataka with proper documents. Mr. Bepari said a few animals were returned to Karnataka on Thursday because of a technical issue at the Goa Meat Complex in Ussagao and not because they lacked proper documents.
