Government sought the intervention of the National Labour Commission (NLC) last year after failing to reach any consensus with the leadership of TUTAG following series of meetings. The National Labour Commission invited both parties to a hearing on 28th October 2019 and gave its ruling. “The Labour Law requires that we notify them within seven days, if nothing happens, before we go. I submitted the Letter to Labour Commission and they’ve not responded yet, and we don’t have to wait for them to respond.
