Google has announced that starting later this month its email service Gmail will support mails created with responsive design. This means emails created to fit a computer screen will now also adapt to a smartphone screen. It will also apply to emails created for smartphones, they will also fit larger screens. Steve Bazyl, developer programs engineer, Google Apps and Pierce Vollucci have asked developers to start using CSS media queries with Gmail and Inbox. So in the coming months responsive design will become more common, this will allow emails to fit better in every device.
