Gloria Dodd Forbes Davis (Weymouth Funeral Home & Crematory)Gloria Dodd Forbes Davis, 91, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Good Friday, April 7, 2023. Gloria was a lifelong resident of Newport News, VA. She was known for her cooking, baking and canning skills. She was predeceased by her first husband, William Britton Forbes, Jr. and their son, William Britton Forbes, III; and her second husband, Robert L. Davis. She is survived by her son, William David Forbes and his wife, Fran; her stepdaughters, Janet Baker (Ralph) and Terry Dougherty (Bill), and step-son, Robert L. Davis, Jr.; ten grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to noon on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at Weymouth Funeral Home.
