Chelsea will challenge for the Premier League title in two years time if Frank Lampard recruits well, says former Blues manager Glenn Hoddle. Chelsea are currently fourth in the table, 27 points behind runaway leaders Liverpool. The Blues were unable to spend during last summer’s transfer window due to the ban imposed on them by FIFA. Lampard’s relationship with Abramovich has worsened says HoddleBut the ban was lifted in December, meaning Chelsea are now able to bring in new players. And he reckons bringing in a few experienced players around them can help Chelsea challenge for the title soon.
