Golden Globe nominee Glenn Close said she prepares for disappointment ahead of each awards ceremony. The US actress has enjoyed a glittering career, earning plaudits and prizes for her roles in films such as Fatal Attraction, Dangerous Liaisons and Albert Nobbs.
