Guitarist and singer Glen Campbell plans to say goodbye with a final album, titled Adios, recorded shortly after his Alzheimer's diagnosis in 2011. After revealing he had the degenerative disease, Campbell performed in an ambitious Goodbye Tour, singing hits such as Galveston, Gentle on My Mind and Rhinestone Cowboy. He then went immediately to the studio to record more of his classic songs, according to his wife, Kim Campbell. The album features classic country and pop songs, many of them never before recorded by Campbell. Campbell, who turns 81 on April 22, is in the final stages of Alzheimer's disease and is currently in a nursing home in Nashville.
