The school’s feminist society called for a boycott of the vote on March 20-21 until Peterson and Yiannopoulos are removed from the ballot, saying it was “disgusted” by the nominations. Uni of Glasgow just sent list of Rector candidates to staff with Milo Yiannopolous/Jordan Peterson still on list. Clarke discovered Peterson through his YouTube lectures and admires his push for freedom of speech and mental health awareness. If Peterson is elected rector, Clarke hopes the professor can bring those ideals to Glasgow. In an online poll titled “Who do you plan to vote for for rector,” Yiannopoulos has 47 per cent of the 1,460 total votes.
