Briefcase 1 Haryana schools to have Quran, Gita and Bible in their curriculum. The Haryana government had faced criticism last year when it announced to include texts from the 'Bhagavad Gita' in school curriculum. Texts such as Bhagavad Gita, Quran, the Bible and Guru Granth Sahib have been incorporated in the curriculum. After Haryana government drew flak for its plan to introduce 'Bhagavad Gita' last year, the state has finally decided to incorporate not only Gita but also Quran, Bible and Guru Granth Sahib in the government school curriculum. Haryana Education Minister Ram Bilas Sharma made the announcement on Sunday.
