But they were in a tie with boys in getting full GPAs, according to the public exam results published on Thursday. In the 10 education boards, 80.78 percent of girl candidates passed the exams as opposed to the 79.93 percent of boys. Of them, 53,488 boys and 51,273 girls got GPA-5. The overall pass rate this year is 80.35 percent.
