Founder of GirlBoss NZ Alexia Hilbertidou, 21, facilitated an Intensive Leadership summit for female high school students at the Landing Service Building conference centre on Thursday. The summit was a partnership between the Ministry of Education, and Venture Timaru as part of the organisation’s ‘My Next Move’ initiative. The Timaru summit focused on building confidence and practising key career skills including networking and interview skills. In response, she challenges the young people attending her GirlBoss programmes to be the most hopeful and optimistic versions of themselves.
