KAJANG: A 14-year-old girl tried to end her own life by slashing her wrist after allegedly being molested by her own father multiple times since seven months ago. The girl who is currently under treatment at an undisclosed hospital had committed the desperate act when her plea for help to her mother fell on deaf ears. The teenager's dark episode started in March this year when her father allegedly groped her breasts and put his hand inside her underwear. Deputy Public Prosecutor Siti Noor Hafizan Zakaria asked that no bail be offered to the accused to protect the victim. “The victim had committed the act (of slashing her wrist) as she was traumatised and depressed with the horrendous act committed by her father.
