The child managed to raise the alarm by taking photos of the scene and posting them online. The Detroit Free Press said the young girl was rescued Thursday evening by police from a home in Mount Morris Township. Officers said she had posted photos online of her dead father and unconscious 36-year-old stepmother. Police told the paper that a pit bull had been gnawing on the 40-year-old man's face. That brave young girl was then picked up by her biological mother, the police chief added.
