A four-year-old girl endured a freak sledding accident in Ontario and succumbed to her injuries after spending days in the hospital. The girl, who has not been identified, was sledding with an adult who was pulling her across the snow when the fatal accident took place on February 22. The little girl had been riding in a sled being pulled by an adult downhill, MRC des Collines-de-l'Outaouais police said, according to CBC. According to Sécurité Publique MRC des Collines-de-l’Outaouais, the adult fell on the child at some point. The Daily Mail reached out to Sécurité Publique MRC des Collines-de-l'Outaouais and Nakkertok Val-des-Monts for comment.
