"Her mother reported to the area chief that her daughter went missing after visiting the market. Together with members of Nyumba Kumi, they embarked on searching for her where she was later found dead along Mbeletu road," reads in part the police report from Nzaui Sub-County Police Commander. The killing happened during the period students went home following the closure of schools due to Covid-19 fears. The body was collected yesterday night by police officers from Mbenuu Police Post and taken to Makindu Sub-County Hospital mortuary.
