The Barangay Ginebra San Miguel Gin Kings cruised to a 112-100 win over the Northport Batang Pier in the PBA Season 45 Philippine Cup at the Angeles University Foundation (AUF) Sports and Cultural Center in Angeles, Pampanga on Wednesday. The victory earned the Gin Kings a share of the top spot with TNT Tropang Giga. Stanley Pringle scattered 17 markers, eight boards and three assists to lead Barangay Ginebra to its sixth win in eight outings. Christian Standhardinger registered a double-double of 23 points and 11 rebounds as Northport suffered another loss for a 1-6 slate. Newsome finished with 19 points and eight rebounds, while Quinto added 14 along with veteran Reynel Hugnatan, who turned 42-years old on Tuesday.
