Furthermore, Selamawit Kasa, formerly the Deputy Minister of Government Communication Services, has been appointed as the new Minister of Tourism. The reshuffle comes following Ambassador Taye’s appointment as Ethiopia’s fifth president. Taye, who held the position of Minister of Foreign Affairs for nine months, has a distinguished career in diplomacy.
