The Kenya African National Union (KANU) was on Monday, May 16 thrown into confusion, after its party leader Gideon Moi was spotted at KICC and in Karen within an hour. In his address, Kalonzo was confident that Moi had thrown his weight behind his presidential bid dismissing claims that the Baringo Senator was a spy for Azimio. In an address at KICC, the Sec-Gen hinted that the Baringo Senator and Kalonzo lacked a stand barely three months to the General Election. Gideon Moi began going asunder with KANU leadership at the height of the Azimio running mate nominations after he backed Kalonzo's bid.
