Giants use six-run inning to rout Brewers, 8-3


Right-hander Tyler Beede won his second consecutive start and contributed an RBI single in a six-run seventh inning Sunday afternoon, guiding the San Francisco Giants to an 8-3 victory over the host Milwaukee Brewers. Beede (3-3) allowed a third Brewers run in the last of the seventh before leaving the game. He gave up seven hits in his 6 2/3 innings, with seven strikeouts and no walks. Yelich, who hit his 32nd homer, collected two hits for the Brewers, as did Lorenzo Cain and Eric Thames. Brewers starter Jhoulys Chacin did not get a decision after leaving a 2-1 game after the fifth inning.
