more-inThe city civil and sessions court on Monday denied bail to Shiv Sena worker Sunil Shitap for the second time, in connection with the building collapse in Ghatkopar on July 25. Advocate Matin Shaikh, appearing for Mr. Shitap, said while rejecting bail, the court said the charges against him were serious. He said the supervisor for the renovation work done by Mr. Shitap on the ill-fated building has been granted bail. Mr. Matin said they will be moving the Bombay High Court. On August 24, the additional sessions court had rejected his bail plea after which he moved the High Court.
