He made this call at the ‘Annual Kids Tourism Fair’, an event organized by Kids in Tourism Ghana in collaboration with the Ghana Tourism Authority, The Year of Return Ghana, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to give young children the platform to showcase Ghana’s tourism and cultural potentials. According to Mr. Otchere, giving both Ghanaians and foreigners equal respect and attention would boost the participation in Ghana’s tourism sector both domestically and internationally. He added that, Ghanaians contribute immensely to the tourism sector so they can have a great impact on the country’s Ghana economy. Mr Otchere stated that until Ghanaians treat locals as good as they treat foreigners, they cannot call themselves patriotic or loving.
