News about the player contracting Leukemia went viral on Thursday on Social Media when basketball lovers use the hashtag #ISTANDWITHGERALD. All efforts to raise funds for the player has proved futile as most governmental authorities have failed to show support to the national asset. But in a bid to get rapid funds to aid for the Nungua Coldstore forward, the basketball players have agreed to converge at the University of Ghana basketball courts on Sunday at 3:00 pm to engage in a fund raiser match.
