Sports News of Monday, 15 April 2019Source: ghananewsagency.orgGhana determined to battle their way to 2019 All African GamesPresident of BAG, Yeboah EvansThe Badminton Association of Ghana (BAG), has set their eyes on earning tickets to the 2019 Africa Games and 2020 Olympics Games, in Morocco and Tokyo respectively, as the team prepares for the qualification series in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. The All African Seniors Championship, is also a selection competition for the Africa Games, to be held in Morocco in August 2019. Team Ghana would be competing against the best teams from the continent for the showpiece event including; Algeria, Benin, Botswana, Congo, Congo DRC, Eritrea, Egypt, and the continent’s number one ranked team Mauritius. Team Ghana has opened camp in Accra on Monday, April 1, ahead of the big event to select the best athletes to make the trip. He called on the corporate Ghana to assist the Association to ensure that the fastest developing sports in the country qualified for the All African Games and 2020 Olympics Games.
