According to him, successive governments have never financed Muslims in the country embarking on their annual pilgrimage to Mecca as speculated by section of the public. “Let me state it clear that Government of Ghana does not finance Muslims pilgrimage. “The government only forms Hajj Board headed by government officials to facilitate it so that the trip maybe successful anyway.
