In all, 43 senior officials from Burkina Faso and 47 from the Republic of Ghana, attended the joint meeting. Dr. Anthony Akoto Osei, Minister of Monitoring and Evaluation in a statement on behalf of the Republic of Ghana, indicated that Ghana- Burkina Faso relations has been greatly enhanced and evidence of real work would be seen on the ground soon. Burkina Faso Foreign MinisterHis Excellency Mr. Alpha Barry, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Burkina Faso, who led his country’s ministerial delegation, in an address said his country is looking forward to a strong bond of friendship and cooperation with Ghana that would be mutually beneficial to the peoples of Ghana and Burkina Faso. The two countries reaffirmed the commitment of their respective governments to enhance the long-standing and friendly relations that exist between the Republic of Ghana and Burkina Faso.
