BorkenaToronto – After his interview with Aljazeera which became viral and a talking point among Ethiopians on social media and beyond, Getachew Reda appeared at NBC Ethiopia. In part one of this interview, he revealed unheard of details about the war that TPLF started in 2020. “Before the war Abiy told TPLF leaders that Shabiya [Eritrea] would take advantage of it and that he could not stop them,” he said. The study conducted during his interim administration reportedly revealed that Eritrean troops committed 76 percent of rape in the region during the war.
