The man, 26-year-old Whangārei man Nikau Andrews, says the way police treated him was "racist" and that he believes he could have been killed. The arrest was filmed by bystanders and posted on social media. "He's bleeding, he's f***ing bleeding!" Graffiti artist Nikau Andrews is in Auckland Hospital after being held down by police on an Auckland street where he was caught tagging his name on a wall. "Ultimately the man was released on summons to appear at Auckland District Court on July 10 on charges of wilful damage and resisting arrest.
