‘A Bite of France’,” gets under way in the city on August 11 and goes on till 13. The festival has been timed to coincide with the holiday season in France (the Tourism Department is expecting French tourists). Backed by a host of sponsors, the event looks to showcase the best of Indo-French, Vietnamese and Creole cuisine. One of the headline acts will be by Tambours Sacres, a professional music, dance and culture team from Reunion Islands, France. According to organisers, this band of 11 international artists will showcase a blend of French and Indian culture through music and dance.
