German authorities have arrested a man suspected of sexually abusing two children and posting thousands of images and videos of his crimes online. The arrest early Tuesday came less than a day after federal police published photos of the suspect and called for the public's help in identifying him. Frankfurt prosecutors said the 45-year-old, whose name wasn't released, was arrested at a hotel in the western city of Krefeld. The man is suspected of sexually abusing at least two boys, aged about 7 and 10, in Germany since October 2014. Prosecutors say the material was posted in December 2017 on a pedophile platform on the darknet — part of the internet accessible only with identity-shielding software.
