German Police have arrested a 30-year-old man from Gelsenkirchen over the alleged assault of a Manchester City fan after the Champions League game against Schalke. The 32-year-old English supporter suffered a life-threatening "massive brain injury" on Wednesday and remains in a medically-induced coma in a German hospital. The City fan was leaving the Veltins Arena with his parents and sister when he was punched to the floor, hitting his head which caused severe injuries. City continue to support the victim's family, with both parents remaining in Germany to be close to him. Speaking on Friday, City manager Pep Guardiola said: "Our thoughts and our best wishes go to them [the fan and his family].
