Under the BSI’s guidelines, a truly secure browser has to support up-to-date technologies like TLS, HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS), Same Origin Policy and Content Security Policy (CSP) 2.0. Firefox is the only one of the five browsers to support a true master password (here’s how to set one if you’re a Firefox user). Although Google Chrome has stormed its way to the number one spot, Firefox remains the number two browser in the country.
