The German Cultural Centre in Saskatoon has closed its doors after opening the first club house 52 years ago. The German Canadian Club Concordia said in a statement the closure was directly related to COVID-19 measures. Johanna Tataryn has been a member of the German Canadian Club Concordia for over 30 years. Flo Broten is the recording secretary for the German Club and has been a member for 26 years. "The one that burned, it felt more like a German building to me."
