A high-level delegation of German business leaders recently visited Dakhla to assess economic potential in Morocco’s southern provinces. The delegation toured Dakhla’s port facilities along with several industrial sites and local infrastructure to evaluate the region’s economic, logistical, and energy potentiality. The companies examined investment prospects within public-private partnerships, industrial projects, and export platforms. During institutional meetings in Rabat, the delegation met with strategic public entities including ONHYM, the Ministry of Investment, and other institutions involved in energy and investment sectors. Dr. Rabii El Bacha, BVMW’s energy and climate coordinator, characterized the visit as marking a turning point in bilateral relations.
