Year 13 student Karma Gyeltshen, 18, is looking forward to showing his leadership skills and New Zealand's culture at the New Zealand China Youth Leadership Summit in July. Geraldine High School's head student Karma Gyeltshen is looking forward helping lead more at his second New Zealand-China youth summit. Karma's first NZ-China Youth Leadership Summit took him to China but this year the travel is a much shorter distance to Christchurch. While a lot of the leadership aspects will be similar to the previous years, he said they would "try to get a lot of New Zealand culture in there". St Andrew's College is hosting the summit from July 13-19, with the extra showcase Christchurch day and special topic days on July 20-23.
