George Weah For Clean City Campaign to Replace Mary Broh’s Day


Monrovia - Monrovia City Mayor Jefferson Koijee is expected to embark on a campaign to get citizens and business owners in the city of Monrovia to keep the city clean and green. The “Weah for Clean City Campaign”, as the operation is called, will be part of plans of a broader national campaign aimed at making Monrovia one of the cleanest and greenest cities in the country. “The campaign we hope will reach out to every area of society and seek to instill in Monrovia, particularly residents and visitors to this city, the importance of keeping our public places and city clean,” Koijee said. This is the first major clean up exercise under Mayor Jefferson T. Koijee who has expressed his commitment to make Monrovia a clean, green, and safe city. He added that the campaign launch will target business owners to abide by the laws of city something he said will improve the city.
