George Clooney expressed his support for Kamala Harris's presidential run, following his contentious op-ed that called for President Biden to withdraw from the upcoming election. “President Biden has shown what true leadership is. He was the same man we all witnessed at the debate,” Clooney, 63, wrote on July 10, seemingly referring to Biden’s cognitive decline due to his age. On top of that, we won’t win the House, and we’re going to lose the Senate,” he added. Eleven days after Clooney's op-ed, Biden announced his withdrawal from the presidential race.
