The spotlight will be shone on another Southland motorsport legend on Thursday night when a George Begg exhibit is opened in Invercargill. It has led to the George Begg exhibit to be established in the basement of the Classic Motorcycle Mecca in Tay St. The exhibit ties in with this weekend's Classic Speedfest meeting at Teretonga Park, which this year has been renamed the George Begg Classic Speedfest. "We want the George Begg Classic Speedfest to become a marquee event as big as the Burt Munro Challenge.
